At The Big Bake Up, we believe that small gestures of care can make a big difference.

When someone receives one of our care parcels, we want them to feel the warmth, thoughtfulness, and kindness that went into every detail — from the wrapping to the handwritten tag.

Our goal is to create a moment that says, “You matter. You’re not alone. We care."

​Whether we’re delivering meals to families going through a tough time, sharing baked goods to someone deserving, or checking in following a natural disaster, every act of giving is our way of showing that compassion and community spirit are still very much alive.

If you knew nothing about The Big Bake Up, you might think it’s all about sweet baked treats — cakes, slices, and biscuits fresh from the oven. But it’s so much more than that.​

The Big Bake Up is a grassroots initiative that brings people from across our communities together to cook, connect, and care by preparing hearty meals in bulk for the freezer. These meals are then shared with individuals and families who have been nominated or referred — often those who least expect it but need a little extra care and kindness.​

Each delivery is more than just a meal. It’s a message of compassion, a reminder that someone is thinking of them.
